Join volunteers from Watertown Community Gardens in maintaining our public gardens, which support native bees, butterflies, birds, and more.

We will start each maintenance day by taking a close look at the gardens, to see which bees and other wildlife might be living there.

Fall garden maintenance activities may include planting new plants, weeding,  pruning, adding compost, mulching, etc.

Any participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the event.

Location Details:

The gardens are located near the intersection of School St and Boylston St.

We will meet at the east garden, which is located at the intersection of Boylston and Howe St.

After the east garden, we will walk to the west garden which is at the intersection of Boylston and Chauncey St.

Parking Details:

We recommend parking on the street near the east garden, near the intersection of Boylston and Howe Streets.
