NOTE LATER START TIME OF 9 AM, due to the season change.
We'll focus this session on planting! Fall is a great time to plant, and we have a lot of seedlings and transplants we want to get in the ground. Native plants help to keep invasive plants from spreading, and support our native ecology. On this date, we'll work in the drainage "pond" close to the Huron Ave bridge:
Steady rain or downpours will cancel!
Details:
* Starting point is the benches at the Holworthy Place entrance in Cambridge.
* Please bring: drinking water, garden gloves, transplanting spades and clippers/pruners if you have them. Please wear long pants, long sleeves, and closed toe/sturdy footwear.
* We will provide gardening gloves, spades and other tools as needed for the day's activities.
* Any participants under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
