MassTrails Grant Recipient – 2025

Watertown Community Gardens is grateful to MassTrails for awarding us a grant this year to support early-stage work along the Watertown-Cambridge Greenway. This funding allows our volunteers and partners to begin essential preparation for the removal of invasive plant species—helping restore the corridor's ecological health and ensuring a welcoming, resilient greenway for all.

This investment lays the groundwork for thoughtful stewardship, climate resilience, and continued community-led care for our shared public spaces.
