(LEXINGTON, MA) Lincoln Park Pocket Forest: Planting the Forest!

Join us as we plant over 300 native tree and shrub saplings in the ground. No experience necessary. All ages are welcome.

If you can, please bring: gardening gloves, a sharp pointy shovel (spades don’t work well here), a 5-gallon bucket, and any extra native saplings you’d like to donate from your garden.

How to Donate a Tree
Do you have a “tree-weed” sprouting in your yard or garden bed? Consider giving it a new life in the Lincoln Park Pocket Forest. We are especially looking for native species. Check our Tree Donation FAQ to see what works best and how to contribute.

About This Project
Lincoln Park’s pocket forest is a municipal pilot project, created in partnership with the Tree Committee and the Department of Public Works, with input from Recreation and Conservation. By helping here, you are helping us test a low-tech, scalable idea that communities everywhere can use.
