Roadside Gardening: A Two-Part Hands-On Demo

Join us as we transform a roadside strip into a low-maintenance pollinator garden! In this hands-on demo, you’ll help with light weeding and laying cardboard and compost, while learning how to choose plants, mostly native, that thrive in dry, neglected areas and support habitat. You’ll leave with plant ideas and simple layout tips you can use in your own garden strip later in the spring.

This is a two-part series. The second session will take place in mid-May (date TBD) when we plant the garden. You don’t have to attend both, but it’s recommended if you’re new to this style of gardening.
