Gather your gloves and shovels – it’s time to bid farewell to invasive black swallow-wort. Join your neighbors for a morning of environmental action as we rid our neighborhood of this pesky plant that poisons Monarch caterpillars and runs rampant in Watertown. We will provide plant identification training and tips for removal so you can tackle your own backyard. Tools and refreshments will be provided. Together, we can reclaim our landscape and pave the way for native biodiversity to flourish.
Hosted by Melinda Dennis and Ben Klass of Watertown Community Gardens, in partnership with the City of Watertown.
The location of the street we will be working on will be sent to registered attendees.
